Terms of service

By using Firstframe, you agree to these terms. When you buy a Pro review, checkout asks you to confirm that you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

• You must be 18 or older.
• Scan your own profile, or photos and words you have permission to use.
• Keep your account’s email address yours and up to date, and don’t share your sign-in codes.

• The free scan measures your photos and checks your words on your device: a score, a ranked fix list and one-tap photo fixes.
• The Pro review is a one-time purchase: our AI reviews every photo and every line of your profile, a person on our review team checks it, and you get 3 free revision scans to check your changes, plus the Pro tools, the export pack, battles and results tracking that come with it.
• We may improve, change or stop features over time. If we stop offering something you’ve paid for before you could use it, we’ll refund you for it.

• The price is shown before you pay ($10 for a Pro review right now) and includes everything we charge. There’s no subscription.
• Stripe processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
• Every sale is final, as explained in our refund policy. A Pro review you’ve paid for and haven’t used stays on your account and doesn’t expire.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects what you’ve already bought.
• Member perks: when a partner site’s membership (such as calculated.love) includes free Pro reviews, you get them while that membership is active and linked to your Firstframe account. They come back on the 1st of each month (UTC), unused ones don’t carry over, and each works like a Pro review you bought, revision scans included. The perk ends when the membership does or the partner stops offering it, and reviews you’ve already run stay yours. Nothing is paid, so the refund policy doesn’t apply.

• You keep all rights to the photos and words you use on Firstframe.
• You let us use them only to run the service for you: to scan and review them (including sending them to our AI provider), to store what you save, and to show what you choose to make public, like a battle or a result you share. This permission ends when you delete them, except for copies we must keep by law.
• We don’t use your photos or words to train AI models.
• How we collect, use and delete your information is in our privacy policy.

Don’t use Firstframe to:

• upload photos of other people without their permission, or of anyone under 18;
• upload nudity, sexual content, violence, hate symbols or anything illegal;
• share anyone’s private details, like a phone number, address or ID;
• harass, threaten or mock other people, including in battles and reports;
• get around free limits, payments or security, for example with fake accounts or scripts;
• copy, scrape or resell the service, or try to reverse-engineer it.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or close the accounts involved.

• A battle shows your photos (and any words you include) to other visitors so they can vote. It never shows your name or email.
• Before a battle goes live, its photos are checked automatically for things that can’t be shown publicly. A battle that doesn’t pass waits for our team to look at it.
• Votes are strangers’ opinions, not facts about you. We may pause or remove any battle, for example after reports.

• Scores, reviews and suggestions are our best judgment about how your profile comes across. They can be wrong, and they aren’t professional advice of any kind.
• You decide what to post and are responsible for your own profiles.
• Photo fixes only adjust light, color, sharpness and framing. We never use AI to edit your face.

• You can delete your account and its data from your account page at any time.
• If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. If we close it for that reason, unused purchases aren’t refunded, unless the law says otherwise.

Firstframe’s design, software, scoring and content belong to us. You may use the scores, rewrites, plans and fixed photos you get for your own profiles, however you like.

Firstframe improves how your profile is presented. It can’t guarantee more matches, replies, jobs or followers. We provide the site “as is”, and we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing here limits guarantees that the law gives you and that can’t be excluded.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about Firstframe is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is more. These limits don’t apply where the law doesn’t allow them, for example for losses caused by our gross negligence or fraud.

The laws of the State of Connecticut, USA govern these terms, and its courts handle any dispute. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protections of the laws where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Before any dispute, please email us: most problems are quicker to fix directly.

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. Using Firstframe after that means you accept the new terms. Purchases stay covered by the terms you agreed to when you paid.
